From the first call to the final walkthrough

Our Roofing Process

Every job we take, from a midnight tarp in Toms River to a full tear off in Bergen County, follows the same order: answer, protect, inspect, price in writing, repair, then show you the finished work. Knowing each step ahead of time takes the guesswork out of a stressful week.

Step by step

The Six Steps on Every Job

  1. 01

    We answer and dispatch

A person picks up, takes the address, the symptoms and any safety worries, then gives you a realistic arrival time.

    Ways to reach us

  2. 02

    We protect the house

Tarps, temporary seals or debris removal stop more water getting in. Inside, we point out wet ceilings and wiring to keep clear of.

  3. 03

    We inspect properly

We start in the attic where there is access and finish on the shingles, tracing water back to where it actually enters.

    How we trace a leak

  4. 04

    You get it in writing

A scope listing what failed, what we will replace and the price. Anything priced at $500 and up comes with the signed contract New Jersey requires.

  5. 05

    We do the work

Damaged material out, new material in, fastened and sealed to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  6. 06

    We show you the result

After photos, a walk around the house, a nail sweep and every bit of debris hauled away.

Emergency or planned

How Emergency and Scheduled Jobs Differ

The steps are the same; the pace is not. An active leak compresses steps one and two into the first hour or two, then pauses so you can make a calm decision about the permanent fix.

Planned work is grouped by area, so crews working near your town can fit you in within days. A roof replacement adds a materials order and a start date to the contract.

Paperwork

What You Receive at Each Stage

Clear paperwork protects you with your insurer and with us.

After the first visit

Dated photos of the damage and any temporary protection, plus a receipt for emergency work.

Before permanent work

A written scope and price, and for jobs of $500 or more a contract with dates and our registration details.

During the job

Photos of anything hidden we uncover, such as soft decking, before it is replaced.

At the end

After photos and a final invoice that matches the approved scope.

Insurance claims

Where Your Insurance Company Fits In

Call us first if water is coming in, then open your claim. Stopping further damage is your responsibility under most policies, and our emergency receipt and photos usually become part of the claim.

If you want, we meet the adjuster at the house and walk the damage together. Coverage decisions are always the insurer’s; our job is to make the facts easy to see.

Process questions

Questions About How We Work

Will you start work before I agree to a price?

Only emergency protection, such as a tarp, and we tell you that cost before doing it. Permanent work always waits for your written approval.

How long does the whole process take?

A simple repair is often done in one visit. A replacement usually takes a few days from contract to finished roof, depending on materials and weather.

Should someone be at the house?

For the first visit it helps, especially if we need attic access. Many repairs can be finished with you away, and we send photos.

What if you find more damage once the old material is off?

We stop, photograph it and explain the extra cost before going further.

Can I send photos instead of booking a visit?

Yes, for a first opinion. A firm price usually needs a short look in person.

Do you clean up?

Yes. Debris is hauled away and we run a magnetic sweep for nails around the house.
